Advantages of Residential Team Cleaning

By: Jean Hanson

Many residential cleaning companies assign two or three person teams for each home, and for good reason. While it's easy enough for one person to clean a home, work gets done much more quickly with teams, and before they know it, they're off to their next job.

What are the advantages of residential team cleaning?

*Work gets done faster.

*There is less chance of workers becoming bored.

*It's more efficient. The worker doesn't have to set down a spray bottle, pick up a broom, and then go back to the spray bottle again later. With team cleaning, each person is responsible for a set of tasks, which makes the work flow more efficiently.

*Team members can switch jobs at the next home to stay fresh and not get bored with doing the same task all day. This is also helpful because everyone knows each other's jobs, so if one person is sick, the other team members can fill in on their tasks for the day.

*Reduced supply costs. If you were to assign each person a home to clean, you'd need equipment and supplies for each person. If you have a team of two or three people, you only have one set of equipiment and supplies to purchase.
